… in 2023
We chose not to brave the hailstones and wind on New Years Day preferring to have a cosy afternoon at home playing board games (another of my pleasures). The following day (2nd January) led to my first walk of 2023 in Telford Town Park with Mr C.
Later we enjoyed fine dining at Chez Nous accompanied by the twinkling lights of our Christmas tree. Neither of us were quite ready to take the Christmas decorations down, probably due to most of our Christmas cards arriving late… That will now be a job for tomorrow!
That sounds like a great goal!
I am continuing on my journey… It keeps me going
Good luck with the walking challenge. We don’t take down decorations until the 5th (or 6th). We enjoy board games too – it was Ludo the other day I won!
They still haven’t come down… Maybe tomorrow
Even with the remarkably challenging weather you will experience over the year, I am sure you will meet your challenge, Cherie. Well done!
Thank you
Ha ha… that song from the Proclaimers was such a big hit while I was still in Malaysia before I came over here to study in Edinburgh.
Do you remember that song?
The #Walk1000Miles group claim the song as their own
When 500 miles are reached we have become a proclaimer. Then there is the matter of the 500 more…
