May the best of ‘22 in ‘23 be the worst.
Happy New Year, CherryPie.
That would be good I will have to wait and see what the New Year brings.
Happy New Year to you too
These personalised calendars are so precious, Cherie, and good to share with others
Thank you
There was also a uniquely personalised one for Mr C and my mum
Happy New Year. Its a lovely idea to do a personalised calendar as it means so much. I do one for the family, one for me and one for my son!
Mine started with one for Mr C, then one for me and later one for my mum. They are all different
I was looking for these, I always look forward to them, every year
Because you always focus on the best of the year, instead of the worst. The end-of-year news and programming is soften focused on the worst that happened, who died, and what is no more, etc., which although important to reflect on, also often leaves little room for the best and good things still to come. IMO.
Thank you for sharing these with us, Cherie, beautiful shots you’ve taken
And a toast – May you, and everyone else reading, have a happy, safe, and healthy New Year – healthy minds, bodies, and souls, all around

Focusing on the best bits shines a light on the New Year whatever it might bring.
I reflect on the other things too, but I try not to let them dominate my thoughts going forward.
I wish you and yours a Happy and Healthy New Year xx
That’s a lovely collection of photos. You have seen some beautiful places this past year.
The beautiful places helped me through a difficult year.
