        Well, to me it sounds theatric / histrionic.
        Considering myself a citizen of the world I did never draw any faith from the land I am (not) rooted to.

          I understood the quote a bit differently. Maybe I was thinking beyond the quote.

          The quote leads me to understand that we are all connected with each other and with nature and that our groundedness with nature means we are all connected.
