My local pathways were quite treacherous this afternoon. I had to deal with compacted snow, ice and snow covered ice. It took me twice as long as it normally would to walk the pathways.

Today I returned to a local walk to immerse myself in the joys of the abundant wildlife there. The wildlife was not so varied as it was on my previous visit.

I recently had a mini break in the Ty’n Y Cornel Hotel  which is situated next to Lake Tal Y Lllyn. Whilst there I completed my ‘Thank You Rainbow 5k walk challenge.

Now things are beginning to reopen we took the opportunity to visit Hampton Court Castle Gardens in Hope Under Dinmore.  On arrival our first port of call was the Orangery Cafe where we sat outside in the sunshine enjoying a sandwich whilst taking in the view.
