They are and everyone should remember them.

There is no better way to say it is there?
I remember that poem from childhood, Cherie – I learnt it off by heart in my junior school in Northern Ireland, and have never forgotten these lovely words
It must have been a very powerful and poignant poem to learn as a child in Northern Ireland.
They are lovely words and those words always make me think.
We will remember them…
And we have to make sure the younger generation do too!
Yes, we remember them, but still the slaughter carries on… as I express on my place with a November 12th post rather than November 11th, as it seems more appropriate to me
The remembering shows us the atrocities of the past but it should be a lesson to not repeat the mistakes of the past.
But those in power have different ideas and the little people don’t speak out…
Indeed.
I think it’s not only on Remembrance Day, but every day!
