This weeks challenge was to capture the sky. At this time of year it is a little difficult to get a good sky shot mainly due to the dark nights. There was an off chance that I might be able to capture a nice sunrise before I left for work but unfortunately the rainy weather has meant no sun.
Luckily I had some sky shots pending posting. So I present you the summer moon as seen in my English garden in Shropshire earlier this year.
The Sky gallery can be found here.
Simple and stunning.
On the day it was beautiful
Thank You.
Nice shot of the moon! I like the blue sky too.
Thank you
Very nicely captured, Cherie
Thanks
I like your summer half Moon Cherie…. well done….peter:)
I always find the moon fascinating and beautiful
Beautiful shot of the moon.
ThankYou
Surprised you didn’t take some shots of the full moon a few days ago – Jupiter was visible next to it.
I didn’t have any clear skies (when I was awake) to see that…
It was a little late when they were visible… I should probably have tried myself, but just getting in from the pub (or just getting up in the morning) and not really having the equipment to try and take a photo myself limited my enthusiasm for the endeavour somewhat.
This is an amazing capture!
Well done – beautiful selection!
Thanks Bella, I am glad you like it
