You will think me irreverant or a philistine… but the first thing crossed my mind, when I saw that picture _after_ reading that caption, was, “Is that one of the wheels from the cycle of life?” in the foreground ^_^
When I took the photograph, the circle on the gate made me think energy and ‘life force’
