    i was a bit confused with this image Cherie…
    then i looked up Flotsam and Jetsam to discover that it meant: useless or discarded objects.

    it looks like someone is swimming after the parasol in the river an i can’t see any reason to do it…
    the strip at the top looks like an old bucket of white paint that has been discarded….peter:)

      I think the parasol had probably just blown away and ended up floating down the river. The bicycle had probably been thrown in there on purpose.

      It is just more debris not a swimmer. I agree it would be madness to swim after it.

      The strip at the top is the underneath of a bridge :-)
