…to enjoy dinner on the patio as the sun went down.

Garden Renovations

The garden plans are taking shape and whilst Mr C and I were at work today the two garden fairies had been at work cutting out new borders around the patio area.

The plan to continue the wall around the patio has now been put back until the end of the project. My current thinking is that the existing wall will be replaced with a different style of bricks and the line will continue around the corner but stop at the wide part of the patio. There are currently  similar walls to the one that borders the patio in other parts of the garden; In front of the shed and bordering the upper and lower parts of the lawn. In due course the plan is to replace all of these bricks.

The next part of the project is sorting out the bin area and then we will move onto the collapsed shed!

It all looks very presentable. Do you have gardeners to attend to your estate?

Hello Cherie, It seems such a long time since I’ve visited you so here I am! I’ve had a rather enjoyable read through your interesting articles, ending up looking at a lovely arbour and almost complete new garden and patio area, it looks very nice and I particularly like the stone work on the patio
. We like to sit out in this warm weather, although it’s a lot cooler today so a TY supper is in order.
Looking forward to seeing the finished garden..
    Kind regards,
    Di xx

I am glad you enjoyed the posts :-) I am enjoying seeing the garden coming along, but as you say it is a bit too chilly to sit out there today…

  6. Garden fairies? Not the baby from the washing up liquid, right?
