Wanderer, your footsteps are the path, and nothing more; Wanderer, there is no path, the path is made by walking, by walking one makes the path and upon glancing back one sees the path that will never be trod again. Wanderer there is no path – only waves upon the sea.
Antonio Machado, Campos de Castilla, 1912
All a bit to deep for me; I’ve been out in the sun too long today
HaHaHa
It has been far to windy where I am for me to enjoy too much sun today.
Your thought for the week is challenging, Cherie
It is, but I like it
I know what he is saying but I will never be able to repeat that.
Love the picture and I love walking.
The stone at the front of the picture is a seat but when we visited there was a small boy walking along the path. This made the quote even more pertinent
LOL at Alan. It’s a quote one needs to think about. Hmmmm.
Things that make you go hmmm
It all sounds as if you had a lovely time in Wells, Cherie.
We did thank you Liz
I’ve not visited for a while because I found your site took so very long to load but it’s worked well today, seems to have speeded up!
I moved my blog onto a new server a couple of weeks ago, which was a bit of a hassle and there are a couple of things that I still need to work out. But the blog does load so much faster now Hopefully it will stay that way!
as i think about it, i feel it makes sense, CP.
It makes sense to me
I’m a wonderer, not a wanderer.
I wonder as I wander
That is truly profound. How lovely.
I especially loved seeing the small boy walking along the words on the bench
