    The entrance gate of the garden is quite scary :) … I googled the garden and I think this is highly fascinating. LOVE the picture and I wonder about the smoke…does it make the birds sing better ;)

      We always love to visit this part of Alnwick Garden. The guides always provide interesting information and every time I go I learn something new.

      There are a couple of plants in the poison garden that I have in my own garden. Some of the more poisonous plants are caged. One of them on this occasion is a plant that we have in a pot outside our backdoor!! I knew it was highly toxic (to eat), but I was rather surprised to see it caged!!
