Ledbury Parish Church

The Church has been at the heart of Ledbury life since Anglo-Saxon times but the bell tower was not built until the early 13th century.

  1. The first photo is fascinating. Tudor streets lined with timber-framed buildings, with a medieval (12th and 13th century) in the distant centre.

My eldest son and family live in Malvern. Next time I visit for anylength of time, I will ask them to take me to Ledbury – I would love to see that Church

  3. Very interesting belfry.
The tower itself is not that tall, but the roof is almost as tall as the tower.

  4. Beautiful photos of the church at Ledbury. The stained glass window looks very interesting. I assume it is “modern”??

We have some fabulous hanging baskets in our small local town. There is a lot of local effort going on to promote the town. Lots of foody outlets are opening up. This evening there was a late night opening and judging by the videos I have seen it was busy and a good time was had by all :-)

If you’re round there take a look at Pendock Old Church, lovely.

Thank you, I had not heard of this church but now I have found church leaflet. It looks like lovely church, I like the porch way entrance.
