I had to fit todays walk around other plans. I stuck to one of my local familiar routes so that I could easily reach my target. It also gave me the chance to take a photo for my Bridleway 2021 project (last photo in the sequence).

Very noticeable the early leaf drop this year and the autumn hues starting to appear, the appalling dark and cold weather for August has had an effect in this part of the world East Anglia.

The warm then wet and slightly cooler weather has caused plants to grow more than usual.

Everywhere is overgrown with and abundance of greenery.

These walks are close to where I live and I was lucky to be able to enjoy them when Covid restrictions stopped us travelling further afield.

The autumn colours are only just starting, soon they will be even more vibrant. I hope to photograph them in all their glory, autumn is a favourite season of mine.

I wish you and your loved ones, peace, health and happiness.

  4. Oh the blackberries and rowan berries are already ripe.
Berry picking is a fun thing to do in autumn.
