… the sun was out an Hodnet Hall was calling.

Tea Room

We arrived in time for lunch and we both ordered smoked mackerel pate.  It being a sunny bank holiday sunday we had to wait longer than usual for our lunch to arrive which meant that I forgot to take a foody photo when it arrived.

We explored different parts of the garden than we had on our previous sunday visit. It was a joy to see the spring flowers in bloom.

  1. Beautiful photos of a very lovely garden. Looks well worth a visit but I suspect a bit too far for me :(

  2. I am going back to my home country Malaysia this week.
And then, off to Australia for my summer holiday. :)
So I see you in June.

You blend in beautifully with the azaleas, Dahling – or IS it an azalea bush? Otherwise, I’m entitling this post “Mr. C and the Giant Peach” ;)

What a beautiful garden, WHY or why do we not have gardens like that here? (Well, some places here in the U.S. do, just not here in Kentucky, at least public ones.)
