… the sun was out an Hodnet Hall was calling.
We arrived in time for lunch and we both ordered smoked mackerel pate. It being a sunny bank holiday sunday we had to wait longer than usual for our lunch to arrive which meant that I forgot to take a foody photo when it arrived.
We explored different parts of the garden than we had on our previous sunday visit. It was a joy to see the spring flowers in bloom.
Beautiful photos of a very lovely garden. Looks well worth a visit but I suspect a bit too far for me
I am not sure how far it is from where you live. It is a lovely garden and well worth a visit if you get the chance.
I am going back to my home country Malaysia this week.
And then, off to Australia for my summer holiday.
So I see you in June.
Have a fabulous time. I look forward to seeing your photos
You blend in beautifully with the azaleas, Dahling – or IS it an azalea bush? Otherwise, I’m entitling this post “Mr. C and the Giant Peach”
What a beautiful garden, WHY or why do we not have gardens like that here? (Well, some places here in the U.S. do, just not here in Kentucky, at least public ones.)
Mr C was amused that my coat was the same colour as the azalea flowers promting my to request a photo in front of them
