Meandering Mammoth

The dinosaurs confined themselves to Norwich city centre but the mammoths wandered further afield around Norfolk. I saw a few in the wilds and captured a couple meandering around Kings Lynne.

how amazing is that! i recall we had something with elephants in Singapore some time back – looks like this is a global phenomenon?

Quite a task tracking all these down, Cherie. I think of all the animals treated like this, these are the finest

Love them! Do the animals represent some aspect of Norwich life eg the zoo? or perhaps a visiting circus?

  4. Wonderful! I do love it when towns and cities have these displays. In Birmingham there were Owls and then Bears and in Worcester we went to a display of elephants. Great way to raise money for charity.

I saw the elephants in Worcester although I wasn’t able to explore all of them because we had mum with us and she couldn’t walk that far.
