The dinosaurs confined themselves to Norwich city centre but the mammoths wandered further afield around Norfolk. I saw a few in the wilds and captured a couple meandering around Kings Lynne.

how amazing is that! i recall we had something with elephants in Singapore some time back – looks like this is a global phenomenon?
These artwork trails seem to be a global phenomenon. The first I saw was ‘United Buddy Bears’ in Paris, it is stil my favourite and has more meaning to it than the other art trails that I have seen since then.

Quite a task tracking all these down, Cherie. I think of all the animals treated like this, these are the finest
My favourites are still the ‘United Buddy Bears’ that I saw in Paris over 10 years ago.
Love them! Do the animals represent some aspect of Norwich life eg the zoo? or perhaps a visiting circus?
The dinosaurs and mammoths are all the unique artwork and thought of the artist who brought the blank canvas to life.
Wonderful! I do love it when towns and cities have these displays. In Birmingham there were Owls and then Bears and in Worcester we went to a display of elephants. Great way to raise money for charity.
I saw the elephants in Worcester although I wasn’t able to explore all of them because we had mum with us and she couldn’t walk that far.
