The traffic to Stafford station  was heavier than expected.  This cut it a bit fine for getting to the station in time for printing off the tickets.  Luckily the ticket printing ran smoothly, which is not always the case.

This ruined castle was situated next to a delightful tea-shop that we stumbled across on our way home from our Newcastle and Crookham holiday.

The weekend weather was glorious and I seized the opportunity to enjoy a walk in Attingham Park on Sunday afternoon.  Due to  the weather being so nice, it was heaving with people.  However it was still possible to find pathways where it was relatively quiet.
