… at Attingham Park

The pumpkin patch has now been harvested and the cabbages look delicious.

As I started my walk the rain set in so I wasn’t able to take many photos. Back at the car, after my walk the rain eased off to almost nothing!

We got absolutely soaked on our day trip to Hay-on-Wye. Just after lunch the heavens opened and we were drenched by rain of Biblical proportions. Driving home was a little tricky to start with due to standing water on the country lanes.

On Bank Holiday Monday Paddington Bear invited me to Snugburys to sample his marmalade ice cream. When I arrived, he doffed his hat to welcome me.

We got up early so we could enjoy one last hotel breakfast before the taxi arrived for our transfer back to Rome airport. After collecting our bags and checking out at reception, we waited in the lounge area for the taxi to arrive.
