Fitting my walks around commitments means I often walk alone. Walking alone is good for thinking and clearing my head but walking with others gives me a greater sense of wellbeing.

Today I walked my extended version of the mile walk which is a joy in any season.

The weather was glorious on my recent volunteering shift at Attingham Park, perfect weather to explore Ismore Meadow afterwards. The meadow is accessible for a few weeks in summer until the grass is cut for hay by the tenant farmer around mid-July.
