We were a little bit late setting off and picking mum up for her holiday adventure. This led us to have lunch at Stokesay Castle tearoom before continuing our journey to Hampton Court Castle. We enjoyed lunch sitting outside with views over the fields and the occasional train passing by.

We set off on our journey in glorious sunshine; planning to have lunch on the way. The SatNav was advising  an hour’s delay on the motorway so we decided to take a detour which led us to a lovely café that we have previously visited, The Café Craycombe at Fladbury in the Vale of Evesham.

Between our mini breaks we spent a sunny afternoon at Bodenham Arboretum. After a lovely walk, I enjoyed a piece of orange drizzle cake sitting next to a lake, watching the ducks. The cake was so tempting that I forgot to take a photograph.
