As far as weather is concerned today was rather disappointing for a bank holiday Monday. I was hoping to get back out into my garden which is in need of some TLC. But due to the aches and pains after yesterday’s work it is probably just as well the weather intervened
So to cheer us all up despite the weather here are some pictures from Sissinghurst.
what a beautiful site! I like the layout and colour scheme
And your garden pics are the best I’ve seen, as always
So nice to see you again Eve, I am glad you like the new look
And thank you for the compliments
Well, when yesterday it rained for only the second time since end of March, I did not complain. After all, one day there was nothing to do in the garden. Lol
I think I would be wishing for rain too in those circumstances. We have had quite a bit here, but also some nice sunny days in between.
Blimey!
I have finally found my way here to be met with a lot of great pics in the outdoors in the day… thats where I need to be!
Awww! it is so nice to see you here. I hope the journey was worthwhile
Your pics are always magnif. I stole the flowers one to use as a sketch in the book and attributed. Hopi may.
Thank You Of course I don’t mind you using the photo
Is that your house and garden Cherie? It’s lovely.
I suppose I should get outside and take pics of our profusion of bluebells.
We have a huge koi pond-about 8×10 ft- but the birds from Bird World fly over and eat our fish! The bstrds[as James would say]
I wish it was my garden. It is Sissinghurst and the garden was designed by Vita Sackville-West
You should take some pictures of the bluebells, I always love to go on walks when the bluebells are about
How lovely…. thanks for sharing
Glad you enjoyed xx
I was just looking at them today. I should get my lacky to pick some.
Photogrpahs are just as nice
