    My true friends have paws.

It’s still nice to hold her hand though.

We use that word so lightly don’t we, but we all know whose hand is really there when it comes down to it.

    • CherryPie says:

People do use the word lightly. I tend to use very infrequently, maybe I have gone to far the other way. But as you say I know whose hand would be there for me and where I would place my hand if it was needed.

  4. Exactly right….and beautiful asters(?) too.

  5. Friends have hands, some have paws… sadly the ones that have paws also have claws!

    • CherryPie says:

The ones who have paws, when sitting contentedly on you knee purring do have the unfortunate habit of unfurling their claws into the tender fleshy bit just beneath the knee cap!

It’s certainly true of virtual friends!

  7. How utterly beautiful….I am going to bed now where my true friend is sleeping (My wife I am a lucky man). My other True Friend is in heaven picking me up every time I fall.
