These plants, both spotted with rain were taken in Abbey House Gardens, Malmesbury.
I always marvel at how vibrant garden colours are after a rain shower, especially when the sun shows it’s face too. It is a stark contrast to how most people feel when it is actually raining.
I must admit I like to sit curled up with a warm drink and from the safety of my armchair watch the rain fall on my garden. I also like to hear it on the windows at night when I am tucked up in bed. Not to mention the occasional forest walk as the rain falls gently down, making a soft pattering noise through the trees. Ah how wonderful of nature to treat us to such simple pleasures in life

Wonderful! You are right, the simple pleasures of nature beat anything we can create
Nature does provide us with some beautiful things.
I love to see rainspots on Lady’s mantle. It is an amazing sight to see and I grow it just for that. Happy weekend to you Cherie
I bet that is a lovely sight in your garden
What a beautiful rose, all fresh and clean after the rain!

I am soooo on the same page with you about rain, Cherry Pie. When it depresses others, I get all warm and cozy inside. I LOVE your images. This is Mother Nature luxuriating in herself.
Thank you for dropping by. I am so glad you enjoyed my thoughts and images
I too love the sounds and sights of the rain. These are such beautiful photos! Thanks for visiting mine and have a nice weekend.
I always think the rain makes everything look so bright and beautiful.
I love nature with its plants and wildlife and its rainbows or spiders webs covered in dew. Or the paw prints of a fox as it crosses a field, or the rabbits playing. For a little time nature all mine for the taking and to enjoy when I’m out walking in the Country as I don’t have to share them with anyone.
I’ll have to start taking my camera out with me.
Ahh that sounds such a lovely place to walk It would be nice to see some photos. I always enjoy taking photos to share little bits of my world with others.

Nature’s tears. Joy or despair?
On this occasion I think it was joy
