When we visited Dover Castle a strange plan for meeting up with other members of the family was set up.  We were to meet up at a certain shopping center that was by the sea front.   We arrived a bit early so I took the opportunity to take a stroll along the seafront and take some photographs.  When I got back everyone else had disappeared and there were no messages on my mobile!

Eventually I managed to locate everyone and we managed to track down the missing family members too. They had quite sensibly parked in the shopping centre car park rather than on the seafront like us.

There had been an original more sensible plan for meeting up which was vetoed at an early stage.  I don’t know why, as far as I am concerned meeting up in a National Trust cafe (close to the castle) overlooking the sea seems eminently more sensible to me…
