A quite place to relax without a care in the world. Maybe with a good book to hand and depending on the time of day a nice cup or tea or a glass of chilled Rosé

….. dream of those whilst the kids cause havoc.
That reminds me of the time when my nephews were very small. My Mum and I had escaped up to the to of the garden and were sitting quietly at the top of the garden. We had left my nephews running around inside with the men. That didn’t last long, they much preferred to be running around our feet outside LOL
I’d like to book my seat now CherryPie:)
I shall reserve one for you
A la tienne, ma chère Cherie! Bon weekend: hope you get a chance to relax after what sounds like a fraught week or so.
I shall certainly try too I hope you have a great weekend xx
I hope you visited Border Books after you were in Alnwick Gardens.
Did you mean Barter books? If so, yes I did it is were I got the book ‘Keep Calm and Carry on’ from (it was in a recent photo). I also bought a mug which says ‘Our Freedom is in peril defend it with all your might’. I was told it was very me…
yes
why did I write Border books?
faded brain……….
Barter Books has a train set running around the top of the bookcases and sofas next to a coal fire where you can sit and read
…..it’s the perfect bookshop
(no connection by the way – I just like the place)
I agree, it is a fantastic place, I can spend hours in there. I will hopefully be visiting that area again in June next year. I am sure I will be paying both the bookshop and the garden a visit
