My final destination in my recent weekend in Kent was the Bedouin encampment. As you can see it is nowhere near as exotic as it sounds
It was here that there was a bit of a saga about where to eat for lunch. Two of the party didn’t like the food that was on offer in the first cafe we tried ,which was a shame because there were lots of things that I quite fancied the look of. We moved on to another cafe where the two people that grumbled didn’t have anything to eat anyway because they weren’t hungry…
Oh, did you smack them?!
In this case that wasn’t an option but it won’t be happening again
I.ve not heard of of this before. Where is it Cherie?
It is the designer shopping outlet in Ashford. We just gave it that nick name because that is what it looks like.
BTW I hate shopping….
Well if they are true Bedouin Jams I expect they’ll be moving around a lot, as nomads do, so don’t expect them to be where Cherie tells you they were when she chanced upon them. Or have I misunderstood?
Sadly the always seem to be there! I keep getting conned into going shopping, I do wish they would move on so I could fill my time with something much more interesting
heh, don’t look quite like bedouin camps to me…but nice shots
It is just our fun nick name for them
It looks like a Cirque du Soleil set-up, Cherie! Could have fooled me. Too bad those who complain often spoil things for everyone else. sigh
It does now you mention it, I hadn’t thought of that
Les fils sont bien tendus !
Je pense qu’ils doivent être. Merci pour la visite : -)
Permanent or just a temporary project?
Very permanent James, those Southerners like to shop
