    I love your flowers and totally agree with the thought, CherryPie.
    But, please, dear herbal gods, now that I planted the seeds, let me reap some basil, mint, chives and parsley for my salads this summer. Merci!

    Have you ever looked round the house and gardens at Castle Howard, it’s on the A64 going from York to Scarborough.

      I know I have visited It, but I can’t remember much about it now. My visit must have been further ago than I thought.
