For the second annual Blogger’s silly week.
After my recent post, ‘Photographing Pigeons in the Park‘, James wanted to know if I had been loitering on the park bench. These photos reveal the awful truth of the matter…
If you look closely you can see it is the pigeons that were loitering. In the second picture I have zoomed in so you can see them plotting on the bench!
It looks like Sean was right to raise concerns about about Andrew (see previous comments section). But it is even worse than we feared because it looks like the pigeons are in collaboration with the squirrels so who knows what can happen next.
There is a post on Andrew’s Blog today, but is it really Andrew?!?!? It seems to be him but…
PS: For those of you who are awaiting a more serious post from me, I think there may be one or two in my head ready to escape
Silly or not, it’s very pretty.
Thanks Liz
I am beginning to very much enjoy the lighter side
Lovely photo’s and am enjoying the banter
I am glad you are enjoying the fun It is one of the things I love about blogging
And everyone knows you can’t trust the squirrels……….
We all have to be vigilant when the squirrels are around!
Lovely pics. I love squirrels. I rescued one once who was gravely ill and when I called some organization to ask for advice how best to nurse him they wanted me to go there so they could charge me for removing an animal from its natural habitat.
LOL Like I went.
That’s a beautiful garden, Cherie.
Silly rules about caring for wildlife or anything else these days… Did you save him?
I am glad you like the garden I still have a few more piccies to post. I just wish it wasn’t raining on the day I visited so I could have sat a while and enjoyed the atmosphere.
Pigeons? Squirrels? I don’t see any of th… Oh, sorry, I forgot. But three? Only three? Look closer and you may see more things than you thought were there if… Oh sorry… humans… limited… I forgot… The thing that looks like a cat on my own blog post of 28 July… it told me something wickedly funny about these pigeons and their plans for you; and the thing that looks like a seal on the very same post, a seal seemingly begging for fish heads from a human. Ha ha ha ha blooming ha. I wish you knew what me, the cat and the seal knew, I really do. Oh but then you’d just start wailing and gnashing your teeth and tearing out your hair, so it’s probably best that you do not. Just put it all down to your “silly week” and call me mad. It will help you cope.
I do worry even more now… There were four clearly visible!!!
I did worry about the cat on your Blog, the eyes gave the game away, I could see the plotting…
The thing that looked like a seal however seems to have fooled you :-/ Double agent maybe?
I think you’re right about the seal CP. They are known to be slippery characters!
I’m kind of enjoying the fun. No need to get serious…
Maybe next week then
Wonderfull park, love the encounter with the squirrel.
He got rather too close just after I took the picture. I could almost feel his breath on my leg!
Marcie, may I assure you that it IS serious! Deadly serious! I fear you may have misunderstood.
Grey squirrels!
I am not sure you have been paying attention James…
Some of my best friends are Greys, James
I don’t think James knows the danger he is in!
Dear James spends all his time worrying about “Them” when he really should be worrying about what I call “Us”.
And I just let my wandering meandering thoughts get the better of me and Blog randomly!
The pigeons have a plan… BEWARE THE PIGEON’S GAZE!
I tried not to look them in the eye but they seem to have followed me home! There are at least for on every lamp post near my house!!!
It is wonderful to see squirrel at so near…So clear shot.
These were very very close, one got close enough to sniff my leg. At that stage I beat a hasty retreat.
Oh, yes, they are definitely plotting! What a fantastic shot of the squirrel.
Glad you like it
