I’d never have green at my place and it’s only a rumour that the Firefox theme is green too. Green with envy over your pics though.
I have no idea what you mean about the Firefox theme?
Green is a tranquil an relaxing colour and very much recommended for the room you relax in. Everyone finds sitting or walking in a garden relaxing too. I think that might be a clue
Green with envy? are you allowed to do that?
Ah so true and a beautiful choice of photos as ever
Thanks Jams
There’s a people in Brazil: their language contains of no past and no future tense; but they have more than 400 words to distinguish the many shades of green.
They are said to be the happiest people on this planet.
That is a lot of words to describe green!!! Maybe that explains why I like the colour green so much
400 words for green?
that beats the Irish with their “40 shades of green”
What is a 0 between friends
Your photo is very restful.
I found the poppy buds fascinating.
You can say that again, Cherie. We’re really learning more and more about Green every day. I’m so glad.
I love all the different shades of green.
Green is one of the great Solar gifts.
It is and I love how vibrant it looks after the rain.
Difficult to figure out cause and effect. Do we like green because green is nice, or do we think green is nice because the land we live on is green? Perhaps we have been naturally selected to like the natural world and its colours, because most of the creatures who didn’t like these colours were too miserable to breed effectively, so they died out.
That is a big thought to ponder, a bit like the chicken and the egg. I wonder what colour people who live in the desert like best…
What a beautiful photo, cherrypie.
Thank you Liz
Lovely photo, I do rather like green Well done on the weight loss, good effort! I have been enjoying your photo’s of Hardwick Hall too, fabulous plaster and ingenious method of preserving it

I am rather fond of green too. It features a lot in my house which compliments the garden
