I remember Wenlock Edge very well.
I can’t recall anything about a Priory though.
I was wondering “Is this the same Wenlock?”
It is the same Wenlock yes, the priory is near to Wenlock Edge.
Think it is Bernard, the priory is on the outskirts of the village.

many, many years ago during one of our “car camping” outings, bacon and eggs cooked on a paraffin stove tastes great for breakfast:)
