In my recent post I mentioned that I had inadvertently changed a setting on my camera which was affecting the results of my photographs.

These two photos show the results of my accidentally altering of the exposure compensation setting.  The second photo was taken after I got the settings back in order ;-)

That’s a classic ‘before and after,’ Cherie. I love it!

I wondered if i had done that too recently as the images seemed very light. But your photos are always lovely.

  4. Do you have the facility to do spot metering on your camera? I find that that is one of the best ways to get the exposure levels I want

  5. Over exposure is not a big problem in England.
With so many gloomy days, you tend to have lots of under exposed photos.
    Blame the weather. ;)

I am forever changing my settings and forgetting. The worst one is exposure compensation…thank goodness that software has become so advanced :)

It’s a great way to learn though the use of all your settings :) There’s still things I haven’t tried yet on mine. And if worse comes to worse you can always change photo to B&W and then no one is the wiser :)
