photohunt

This is such a perfect topic for a tree lover like me. I have so many photos to choose from. I settled with these three.

The first photo was taken in my garden last week as the sun was setting.

The other two were taken in Attingham Park in February last year.  They remind me of my Dad, it is difficult to explain why.

I should be visiting Attingham tomorrow and that connects up with another story related to my Dad ;-)

    … a (good) father – in a way – is like a tree …

Hello Sean, it is lovely to see you again :-)

Yes a good father is very much like a tree. Firmly routed with years of wisdom and advice.

All three photos are beautiful but I like the second best. What’s that pinkish line by the river? Is that made by flowers or is that the color of the sand on its edge?

  3. I agree with YTSL that all 3 photos are beautiful. The first I like because it looks like a storm is brewing, ominous-like, and the other 2 because of their tranquil-like nature.

I cannot see a link with father. Perhaps, you can elaborate further?

      Thank You :-)

The links with my father are memories. I will try and explain a little.

It is partly to do with the time of the year, the times I visited Attingham park last year and remembering text conversations with my Dad whilst I was there last year.

It will soon be a year since he passed away.

I know that is still a little confusing, but I hope it makes a bit more sense now :-)

These are super photos Cherie. Trees can be just as beautiful when bare in winter as the top photo proves. Really like those reflections in the water as well.

Aren’t you lucky to have that magnificent tree in your garden. Although maybe raking up the leaves are not so much fun.

    Happy weekend to you Cherie

Absolutely love the first pic. A silhouette of a tree against the setting sun is just perfect.
