Regular readers will know that I have been following the progress of the development of the walled garden at Attingham Park. I enjoy watching it progress over the seasons. I didn’t take any pictures during my recent visit because the cold winter had delayed planting, making the scene look quite bland.
On this occasion I was particularly interested with the restoration of the garden well and dipping pond. I must revisit to get some photos of that ongoing restoration when it is less busy.

Anything that is restored gets my vote, Cherie. I love that it’s happening in so many places.
It is great to go back and see the changes as time goes on
It always fascinates me how they manage to restore gardens. Wonderfully hopeful!
It is a glimpse into the past and the future at the same time
I like the idea of a restored garden – something I plan on doing here too though first I have to encourage the red ants to move along… say ten miles away LOL.
You could try talking to them, maybe the will oblige
My garden is in need of a little TLC…
