    Unfortunately that weather is not the greatest right now, but we do need the rain. Have turned the heat on tonight.

      Yes we need rain for the gardens and crops, everything has been so dry. I just wish we could have seasons that were more predictable like we used too.

    Never so true as this afternoon: June and it’s pouring with rain and cold!

      I find the rain and the cold or the sun and the heat quite localised. On my hols I dodged the rain showers in favour of warmer day in a town just a few miles away. For example I went to visit Cragside where it was mostly sunny with the occasional cloud, but most importantly NO RAIN. A few miles up the road they had a prolonged heavy downpour with thunderstorms!!
