They are beautiful even if invasive
My Dad always referred to them as weeds But I think they are rather beautiful weeds
your dad was right they are foreign inidel invaders! (from India, I think)

I have never seen such an abundance of rhododendrons at one place before.
England is quite full of such prolific displays of Rhododendrons.
Rhodies grow everywhere here both tamed and wild but their colour and show is unsurpassed by anything. I always enjoy their blooms.
There colour show is quite impressive throughout their season. Very photogenic
For obvious reasons, Cragside is the first name that i think of when someone talks about Rhododendrons. I’ve never seen more in one place.
There are some places in Wales and Shropshire that sport a fair number of Rhododendrons.
