I’m ashamed to say I have never visited Northumberland. It’s on my list as I would like to see Anwick Castle.
We are off to the Cotswolds this week, so I plan to visit lots of lovely gardens there.

Getting all these photos and that familiar purple/mauve/pink colour brings back memories.

Cherie, Such a pretty place. Love that stone wall, and the purple flowers are lovely. Mickie :)

Beautiful photos and great composition once again.
I was blown away when I first saw this hilltop area as a child from the back seat of a car. It’s only when you consider the hidden industrial purpose of the lake that makes it even more special and pleasing to the eye.

I can imagine how stunning the scene would look to the eyes of a child. It takes my breath away and children seeing things for the first time are always more amazed than us adults.
