I’m ashamed to say I have never visited Northumberland. It’s on my list as I would like to see Anwick Castle.
We are off to the Cotswolds this week, so I plan to visit lots of lovely gardens there.
I hope you have a great holiday You really should visit Northumberland, it is wonderful.
Getting all these photos and that familiar purple/mauve/pink colour brings back memories.
Good ones I hope
Cherie, Such a pretty place. Love that stone wall, and the purple flowers are lovely. Mickie
This part of the estate was especially pretty at this time of year.
Beautiful photos and great composition once again.
I was blown away when I first saw this hilltop area as a child from the back seat of a car. It’s only when you consider the hidden industrial purpose of the lake that makes it even more special and pleasing to the eye.
I can imagine how stunning the scene would look to the eyes of a child. It takes my breath away and children seeing things for the first time are always more amazed than us adults.
