Bolton Castle dominates a small village near to Leyburn. The castle is invisible as you approach it by road but as you turn the corner there it is, a very impressive view of the castle towering over you.
The village seems to have some unusual inhabitants…

I have fond memories of a family holiday staying in Goathland. I would love to stay in that property again
