I really love pictures of roads like this, perhaps because I generally prefer travelling to arriving, and hate the sense of being stuck. Your pictures just make me want to get moving on. Thanks.
Those roads were great for driving along, the scenery was very beautiful.
It does look like a road without end. Such an interesting, ever changing sky. Emerson said, “The sky is the daily bread of the eyes.”
The changes that day were very fast, lots of scope for interesting photographs.
I love the depth perception of the road in your second picture Cherie… the countryside is beautiful and the road seems to have no end….peter:)
Thanks, I am glad you like it
Such a beautiful country side Cherry
Thanks Anyes
You are reminding me that it is too long since I visited The Yorkshire Dales. When we younger we used to camp for quite a few years near Hawes. Lovely pictures today.
It is another place I would like to go back to, sooner rather than later.
don’t ya just love it when a good storm comes rolling in ?
Yes, they are very picturesque to watch.
Dark, moody skies. But it is still beautiful
Very dark and moody.
Hard to know what to add – superb.
