After leaving Malham it was too early to go straight home so there was a detour via Tatton Park to have a picnic lunch and enjoy the gardens. The picnic lunch had been made up at Beck House and the sandwiches were delicious.
I have visited Tatton Park before so I already have photographs of the place. This being the case I decided that I would take all of the photos using my macro lens.
What a gorgeous sofa/bench. Love it!
When I spotted it I loved it immediately. I am going to put it top right of my blog in my rest a while with me place
Is that the RHS garden Cherie?
Yes the RHS hold a yearly flower show there.

It looks lovely.
It is a nice place to visit.
The bench doesn’t look very comfortable though. I’d be with the lady on the grass… oh, that sounds a bit threatening… I meant I’d be sitting on the grass like the lady is, but at a respectful distance. Unless she wanted me to sit very close, of course… Anyway… the grass looks a more comfortable place to sit. Although I suppose there is nothing to lean against (unless I could lean against the lady…). Why could I not just make a simple comment and leave it at that?
For that bench I thing cushions (velvet ones) are needed. If that is a bit too posh there are quite a few comfortable wooden benches around the garden
It looks like a nice building. I went to North Wales at the weekend & considered stopping here for lunch, As I only allowed myself 90 minutes, I decided against it at the gates and moved on to The River Dee at Chester.
I only did the gardens on this visit. The grounds and house take a bit of getting around.
The River Dee is a nice place to visit too.
