The shaping of these bushes and shrubs and plants – made me laugh. How do they do that?!?!? WILD!
It is a strange English custom. You can see bushes and shrubs shaped into spirals and animals. Some people have too much time on their hands
I love the yew arches!
They are spectacular
It so restful. I love the different shades of green.
It is amazing to think that this is in the middle of a theme park isn’t it?
They sure put their heart into their gardening over there across the pond Cherie…. beautiful photos in this presentation…. these are beautiful gardens….peter:)
They are quite spectacular and very steep
I’m ALWAYS fascinated by shrub artistry, Cherry. Someone sure has lots of fun (I hope) making stuff like this. Thanks for showing it.
I really love the view of the from underneath. I have a photo of that for another time.
There is some amazing topiary around in some of the magnificent gardens in the UK and this is superb. I have never been to Alton Towers so thanks for showing these. Claire
I would like to go again in a different season, but I would need to get a cheap ticket as I don’t go on the rides they are not my thing. The gardens however, Wow!!
Awesome, I’m going to have to look this place up on the map. Stoke is a bit off the beaten track for me but I am looking for South Manchester / East Chester locations for an extended lunch break on route to Snowdonia.
I advise you get advanced cheap tickets and check if it is open when you are passing by because it closes during the winter months.
