  1. Arches, arches everywhere. Hoping you find your friend soon. Hugs to you, CherryPie

As you know, Cherry, I an enamored by old ruins like this. It doesn’t hurt that they’re great photo ops. :)

    Imagine that at night.

  4. There’s a building similar to this in Colchester too.
It’s located right next to Colchester Railway station.
Can’t recall its name though…. Some kinda priory building too.

Off topic – but your “rest a while with me” photo on the right is extremely appealing and has me intrigued about its location. If that is a sunset (which knowing you as I do I am going to presume) I am thinking north coast of Cornwall or Wales? Am I anywhere close? Or were you up with the larks one morning in Northumberland? I doubt it.

  6. Andrew says:

September too… so Whitehaven, Barrow in Furness? Southend??? I may have to go Google street viewing all up the coast until i find it :)

You were quite close in your first comment but not quite Cornwall…

After hovering you missed the final step – click ;-)

I was away with my work colleagues, were meeting up with other colleagues from the south and some guys in green at the tank museum in Bovington. We had to stay overnight and this was the nearest hotel to Bovington that wasn’t booked up!!

The photo was taken after we had booked into the hotel. Here are the rest of the photos I have uploaded from that evening.

I had always intended to go back, it was very beautiful.

  7. PS: Golden balls mean testicles in Japanese! ;) Ha
