Sticks and Stones

I do not know with what weapons World War 3 will be fought, but World War 4 will be fought with sticks and stones.

WW3 will probably be a sort of ‘board-game’ or ‘computer-game’.
Actually, it has already started. The eu in Brussels, shook their pair of dice and landed their ‘bean-counters’ in Greece and Italy.

  2. Some idiots call the Cold war WWIII and the War of Terror WWIV. A load of crap in my view

    • CherryPie says:

The cold war was a play off between two powers trying to have the strategic advantage over the other, it was all about balance. There were some incidences through that period where the possibility of WW3 was in the balance…

The ‘War of Terror’ (an terrorism) is just noise to scare people and make them think they are under threat. It is a means of control.

WW3 is yet to come. The way things are currently lined up, I think there is a strong possibility it may happen in my lifetime…

  3. How about No More Wars? That would be such a different game…never played before… could we try for our children’s sakes?

I believe that Albert’s prediction is right on Cherie… after all he was the most intelligent man in the world… IMO….peter:)

And we still didn’t learn then? Sigh.
Will we just keep on starting over? …Reminds me .. opening scene in 2001 A Space Odyssey…

The cycle keeps repeating doesn’t it? Man as a collective never learns…

Thank you for reminding me of that scene, it sums it up quite well!

    Now there’s a thought…

And rare though it may be for me to disagree with Jams, I rather do think WWIII has already begun, and will smoulder for many years, or explode in conflagration in the next few months. But then I am wrong more often than I am right. Just feeling pessimistic, tonight.

    • CherryPie says:

I agree with you, things have been put in motion that could be the catalyst for WW3. It has been smouldering for several months now… It could explode any time, but if the players play their moves carefully, who knows where that will lead us!

  7. Andrew S says:

Oh… talking of being wrong I put the wrong web address in there and discovered another “Andrew’s view” blog, though one with nothing on it, and nothing to do with me. Got it right this time, I think

  8. Claude says:

When the Berlin Wall was erected, my brother (who had fought on the Normandy beaches to liberate France from the Germans) said, “WW2 never ended!” While resuming his career as a lawyer, he remained in the Reserve Army, convinced that any day we would have to fight Russia. He always said, “Si vis pacem, para bellum. ” (If you wish peace, be ready for war.) Sadly, he died before the Wall came down. All I can say is that I totally agree that the war between humans, from the beginning of times till now, never ended. I don’t know what it will be called, and how it will be fought but it seems that one war always follow another, and that peace is an elusive dream.

    • CherryPie says:

It is really sad isn’t it that we can’t live in peace with each other. Most people I talk to want this and it makes me wonder why this never happens.

I have some very complex thoughts on this, I will try and express them…

People need to feel safe and that leads to them looking up to leaders who will keep them safe.

The leaders try to keep the people safe, but then they need to feel safe also. They need to keep their power position against other powers to keep their own people safe.

When it has got to this stage the leaders are now focusing on keeping their power positions and in the process they have forgotten what is needed to keep their own people safe.

Multiplied over different nations, this leads to war…

The people don’t want war, but the people need leaders – so the cycle continues!

    Iff only….
Hard to imagine what it is they were thinking. The world has changed so dramatically. Sticks and stones? I’m not sure whether to laugh..or cry!

    • CherryPie says:

I think Einstein was thinking man will destroy himself in World War three and then man will be back to square one!

What is man thinking of indeed! Not thinking at all…
