And that is what you’d call sturdy?
No reply needed.
Sturdy in this case meant:
Firm/Resolute.
The ideologies that caused the divide and the man who made that statement were firm and resolute in their convictions…
a fine twist to the theme.
I wanted the idea to be a little different.
The sign itself looks pretty sturdy. Very creative take on the theme.
Yes the sign is, that was another angle to my post
That’s a different take to the theme and I like it. Happy weekend!
Thank you Happy weekend to you too.
Wow…this is truly super excellent choice for this week’s theme. My dear husband would LOVE to go through this museum, to be sure.
Mine’s HERE if you’d care to join me. My first since TNChick stopped hosting long ago.
Happy weekend.
The museum is very interesting, especially because it is such recent history but somehow it seem such a long time ago…
A creative take on the theme. (I read your reply to Sean.) Also, funny that the iron curtain’s come down in our lifetimes.
I am pleased that in my lifetime I saw that curtain fall.
I have been to Churchhill’s museum and it is fascinating. He was a sturdy man… when a sturdy man was needed!
I love words that have many meanings~ that’s what makes this photohunting fun. Thanks for playing every weekend.

Churchill has a fascinating history, he lived in interesting times. I have visited his house at Chartwell.
No way, there’s actually a museum called the Cold War Museum?! Ha!
Britain got everything!
By the way have you been to the Imperial War Museum in Manchester?
That’s a cool place.
Yes it is part of the museum at Cosford. It is a very interesting place to visit.
Wasn’t too sturdy in 1990.
No and that what I time to rejoice and subsequent times gave time to rejoice too.
But sadly the cycle continues…
