      He was quite a bit away from the church. I am not sure he ever went to visit. I think here though he was in a prime (quiet) location :-)

    I took a similar picture to this in the Pyrenees, and was told it was called a Wall Lizard. I wonder if this is the same species

      I was surprised he sat so still for me, he knew I was there. I think perhaps he knew I wished him no harm.

      I was standing quite still apart from waggling my camera about a bit.
