No matter how carefully you stored the lights last year, they will be snarled again this Christmas.

  1. Now there is a quote I can agree with.

My Chr… eh… Solstice Tree lights have been snarled since about 2001. Each year I just unsnarl them enough to be able to throw them on then tug the major snarlings apart a little and stand back and declare: “Perfect”.

    Seasons Greetings to you.

Last year it was a mess, this year Ginnie marked the lights, we have three strings in the tree, the last one put in, will be the first one to be taken out the tree.
Our Christmas dinner with family is this Saturday, so no stress for all of us with the Christmas, everybody can go his/hers own way…..

That is very organised of Ginnie. Mr C does something similar when packing the decorations away each year, we have two trees and he organising the decorations in boxes accordingly. I have to admit I am not that organised ;-)

I hope you both enjoy your family weekend and Christmas :-)

Grandson (9-year-old) visiting with his dad, from Winnipeg, this Saturday for 3 days. Celebrating a bit early, and then a quiet time with older son. I gave up lights a few years ago. I just do a small table Christmas tree. It’s my Facebook profile, presently, Cherie. I’ll be off line till next week. Will return to wish you all un Joyeux Noël!
