I love your Oak Tree. And it’s marvelous to see it with different faces. Each has a poetry of its own.
I like the Oak trees different coats and moods.
The lower pic is so beautiful.
I like that view too Can you see the birds right at the top?
STILL no snow here… if it’s got to be this cold it might as well be pretty too!
I certainly feel cheated if the cold doesn’t provide me with pretty!!
It certainly looks nice…from indoors!
I quite like walking in it as long as I am wrapped up very warm!

Poor oak tree! It’s being strangled by ivy.
The native ivy which this is doesn’t strangle trees. The relationship is symbiotic. I did a post on that a while back
In the county of Shropshire a lot of the venerable oaks are covered with ivy, the two living quite happily together.
