I do try.
But I so often fail and have to try to haul myself back into only the ‘Now’.
Good words but often hard to follow.
You reflect why I posted this comment today…
I was trying to refocus myself
Carpe diem.
Today is all we need Cherie… tomorrow will come soon enough… lovely valley….peter:)
Sieze the moment I am glad you like the valley.
I couldn’t have said it better, Cherry!
Glad you like it
At the moment, I need to plan for tomorrow – people are awaiting my answer.
You could give them your answer today
What a beautiful scene! The perfect place to enjoy one hour at a time.
It is a lovely place for relaxing.
I wish that life was so simple. Don’t we all regret parts of the past and worry for the future? It is possible, I think, to live in the moment but sometimes I feel that I am making a conscious effort to appreciate ‘now’. It’s a cliche that we recognise happiness after it is gone, but true, I believe. I wish I could relive my carefree student days and that I could bring up my children all over again. Not to change anything, just to experience it and appreciate what fun it was. How sad is that?
I try not to have regrets because the things that I have experienced in life have made me who I am today. There are some fond memories that like you I would love to go over again though. Music at school, a social group I belonged to in my twenties to name but two. So no I don’t think it is sad
