Ha! So I guess ordering a pizza, while you’re under there, is out of the question.
Who writes these signs – someone for whom English is a second language?
Clearly, someone “exceptional” (nod to your post below). One might even say “special”

If I was sheltering because of a Nuclear attack I think eating would be the last on my mind
The getting under the table part reminds me of one of my colleauges some years ago when we had an earthquake. He did just that, got under his desk!!
I’m sure it would be the last thing on my mind too; however, if one wanted their “last supper” under the table, why can’t they have one?:)
(Because let’s face it, that table’s not much protection.)
And I’m pretty sure Domino’s pizza would still deliver a pizza within 30 minutes during a nuclear attack
Under attack I don’t think anyone would be taking much notice if anyone was eating or not
Maybe the Domino’s staff would be sheltering under their own tables
… and this will be strictly enforced by anyone left alive.
The building was built to withstand a Nuclear attack, so hopefully more than a few would survive…
“If you hear a siren or see a big yellow flash in the sky, go under the table.” That’s what I taught my sons (4 and 5) to do, in Houston, Texas, during the Cuban Missile Crisis, in November 1962. We were 750 miles in direct line from the Nuclear missiles, and for 2 weeks, we didn’t know, from one day to the next, if we would make it through the next 24 hours. It was no fun. If we had had the chance to be alive under a table, during an attack, I would have let my boys eat whatever they would have wanted to.
That sounds like it was a really scary time for you. It reminds me of when we used to have the regular threat of the IRA, which is on a smaller scale in comparison.
how reassuring. nice series of shots CP
Thanks Ayush, I am glad you like them.
