I was fascinated when I found out it was a painting
I’ve seen many windows in churches that are paintings on class rather than stained-glass windows. In South Africa they seem to be much more common than stained-glass windows, which are rare.
It was a new one on me and from what I have briefly found out painted windows are rare in England.
I am impressed that this is a painting, never would have guessed.
Great picture.
I had no idea either until the guide in church mentioned it as being one of the interesting features of the church.
